Buggycamp is primarily for all those new mummy’s out there, but every one is welcome! This exercise class offers you a convenient way to get back into shape after carrying around that baby bump for the last 9 months! The classes enable you to be as fit and active as possible to deal with your baby’s needs, help you lose any post baby weight and can help prevent post-natal depression!
The demands of being a new mum are tough and often, finding the time and confidence to go to a gym whilst also organising child care seems impossible.
The answer is… BuggyCamp! This is an outdoor fitness class where you are free to bring your child with you (in their buggy if you like), eliminating the need for expensive child care! Being in the great outdoors means that both you and your child benefit from the Sun’s natural healer, vitamin D whilst meeting new local mums, having fun and getting fit! Your children also get plenty of opportunities to interact too. Other siblings/ children are also welcome along too with their toys, balls and dolls prams to copy you whilst you exercise.
BuggyCamp prevents costly gym membership fees and child care costs enabling you to have peace of mind whilst having fun and burning any unwanted baby weight. The class is instructed by one of our qualified trainers. The class caters for everyone’s needs, taking into account varied fitness levels and abilities.
The hour session includes cardio exercises, including intervals of walking, running or sprinting. Strength training, pelvic floor and abdominal exercises and most importantly core stability are incorporated in order to help you maintain good posture and strengthen your muscles that are usually affected by childbirth.
